BAANZ Longjump 2026 will be held in the months of May/June

1st Prize - $300
2nd Prize - $150

Balloonists secretly compete over two months to fly the longest possible distance in one flight.

The distance is measured on a map in a straight line distance from point A to point B following the completion of the flight.

New Zealand's unique terrain adds another element to the competition,

The 2025 competition has concluded and a new NZ record for distance has been set by Nick Oakley @ 185km!
